[Aindreas Gallagher] “the visual desktop metaphor space, and the classical finder sitting within it, dies with 10.9.”

The Finder? Maybe. But multiple open windows from different applications are also part of the desktop metaphor. I’m not ready to give that up. Are you?

[Jim Giberti] “Every album project I’ve worked on either as a composer, musician or producer, is a concept, not some teenagers idea of a playlist. Enormous time goes into which songs go into an album and in what order they’re heard. Certainly when they’re produced as more than an assemblage of cuts.

In many ways it’s like reading a book without regard to chapters. It’s absolutely doable and some books lend themselves wonderfully to it (Little Big, Walden…) but many if not most musical artists consider the album as the order of the story.”
Was not Apple who started to sell music by songs ?
Are they not with this “back to the album concept” trying to sell something?
People do not read books and people don’t buy full albums anymore.
If they could sell books by chapters, they would do it.
