May 30, 2012 at 11:33 pmCould it be used for iTunes and swap sound samples to billions of music tracks?
Just trying to keep the part time nay sayer theme going on this forum. 🙂
I had a chance to play around a lot with X today on 10.0.4 and 10.7.4. It had been the first time since 10.7.4 that I’d had a chance to spend any quality time.
I transferred a pretty large project with 24 tracks of audio in some of the comps using 7toX.
There’s not a ton of media, but there was version after version of edits.
It took a while to translate, but man was I impressed with the accuracy.
The keywords will need some clean up, but it’s not a big deal. It’s too bad encompassing bins can’t come over to an FCPX folder.
The current AJA drivers seem to be working a bit more fluidly. I didn’t have to knock down the res to “better playback”.
It is certainly feeling much closer to letting the co-workers take a stab at it.
Cant wait to get the audio enhancements.

May 31, 2012 at 1:04 amIf you go to the company web page, their products are all around sample control and managment. Basically fine automation of volume within a sample plus plugin handling.
This would be mostly useful IP for Logic. They are a small company.
