Any way to prevent dupes in Project file?

Even using the Project Manager tool to create a whole new project doesn’t solve the issue.

One has to wonder about the people Adobe hire to actually test their software; it’s such a glaring problem for anyone using the product in a real-life studio.

This is the feature we want:

“I would like to be able to delete master clips in the project panel without deleting them from sequences in my project.”

I cannot tell you how much easier this would make my life.
