Animated Graphic movement not smooth after render

January 15, 2009 at 7:47 pmIs the graphic rendered as progressive frames? It should be rendered with frames set to lower.
also as you note the 23.98 should be 29.97.

January 15, 2009 at 7:51 pmIve tried rendering it to lower, upper, none….same issue…Im really thinking its the frame rate, although ive gotten stuff like this before in FCP5 and never had this issue.

January 15, 2009 at 10:06 pmBut the graphics is 23.98? There’s your problem. FCP does not add pulldown correctly when adding 23.98 material to a 29.97 timeline.

Have you tried to make the AE render progressive?
If the motion in FCP is smooth now you have confirmed deinterlacing as the issue.
