January 16, 2010 at 8:09 pmIf you do have AE, you could also try either importing the Premiere project or an uncompressed AVI version and export from there.

January 16, 2010 at 9:12 pmThat’s a good idea too. I have done that in the past, as a work-around for other Premiere problems. Although I know that it isn’t always a problem-free thing to bring in a Premiere project into AE (sometimes things don’t translate well). But I probably won’t do the uncompressed AVI thing, because of time and disk space. But thanks for the great ideas and for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it.

January 18, 2010 at 1:44 pmYou might also look into “TMPGEnc”, about US$100; I believe a demo is available. I’m not sure how the output quality compares (I just recently started using it), but it seems good.
