Hi Kevin, as you’re here I’d like to say how impressed I’ve been with the latest version of PPro CC.

Every year I have a major event project that I’ve been cutting in various NLE’s including Avid, DVision, FCP7 and more recently FCPX. The show is 120 minutes long with about 150 hours of source material on XDCam, DSLR and GoPro footage.

This year I decided to try it on PPro 2014 and I have to say it’s been faultless, I only have a 2008 Mac Pro with Ati7950 card and PP has been very fast in timeline operation and encoding. All the way through the project it never crashed once, even after the upgrade last week.

I know other people have been having issues but for me it’s been a great experience and will probably tempt me away from FCP X every now and again.
