    Something else to note is that some video compression apps (Such as squueeze) allow you to add video keyframes in the timeline when doing MPEG-2 Compression. That means that if you’re finding a spot in the video where it looks particularly bad, you can add a keyframe in to “refresh” the image that the following frames are based on (in video compression, with certain codecs, most of the frames are not real video – they are only the pixels that have changed).

    Anyway, that may help too.
