June 10, 2006 at 3:30 amI think the thing that has really blown me away with AE7 is the 32 bit floating point bit depth. Now you can actually comp a realistic sun by mimicing it’s real world light intensity. AE7 It is a bit buggy though, I agree.

Had the same problem as you, except i am running a Dual Zeon, Win XP sp2, 2gis ram, and a a decklink card, and it would not play at full frame rate like it would flawlessly in 6.5.
I changed my output options from more accurate to “faster” and that seemed to work for me.

June 17, 2006 at 10:19 amIve been using it since cosa 1 and am having trouble feeling totally at home with the new layout – the main drawback for 7 is that option click (hide tha app) is an intermittent thing now.
