And in fact, Adobe has now pulled out of NAB.

Each year, we look forward to seeing our video community at NAB to talk about the latest trends and our product innovations. Over the past few weeks, we have been closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around COVID-19 and have made the difficult but important decision to cancel our presence at the show this year.

While we are disappointed, the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners are always our priority. We look forward to engaging with our NAB community through a digital experience in the near future.

This feels basic and prudent, no more or less panicky than washing your hands. NAB will be waiting for us all next year, but nothing that happens during that show is worth even one person getting sick, much less dying.

More to say about that on the the thread that started with AJA, here: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/335/105732

Adding an admin note here: once we’d gotten up to a dozen different threads for every new company making an announcement, we’re now requesting that ALL posts related to NAB 2020 to be added to one thread, here: All-purpose NAB Cancellation Thread: From Adobe, AJA, and Avid to Zaxcom.

This was originally Oliver’s AJA thread, but, so many more companies have been added, it just makes sense to consolidate all the information in one place.

Thanks for your understanding! Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns.

    Regards,
