August 9, 2005 at 2:34 pm[Tim Kolb] “…we draw the line at mullets here, however.”
Yes, after Billy Ray Cyrus’s career nose-dived into the ground following his quirky one-hit-wonder of “Achey, Breakie Heart” (or whatever it was called), he asked to join the Cow team in our once-proposed “Learning to Sell Nothing Fast” forum. I figured we had the right man for the job but Kathlyn said, “No way, look at that mullet, will you?!#@!? We let him in here and next you know, Nick Griffin will have a mullet and then Andy Stinton — and there will be no end to it! You’ll even be sporting a mullet, Ron.”
So I did, but she wouldn’t let me post anymore and so I had to leave the Cow for a while…
Honest. That’s *just* how it happened…

August 9, 2005 at 3:45 pm[Ron Lindeboom] “Yep, Charlie still can’t grow a beard, even in his fifties.”
Thanx for the age compliment, Ron. Do I really look like I’m only in my 50’s?
Turned 63 July 22nd. But you are right I tried once to grow a beard. after 2 months went by, I looked like my face was dirty so I gave up.
Franklin, my partner Frank likes having another Frank around, so again welcome.

August 10, 2005 at 6:42 pmWell. At least this thread is getting down to the real purpose of the Biz Cow .. hosts jabbing at each other.
Welcome, Franklin.

“Neat and tidy” was not a jab…I just noticed that I might look a tad scruffy next to some of my fellow hosts. The Foster Brooks school of grooming and etiquette made me the man I am (hick) today.

August 11, 2005 at 9:09 pmI guess I’m due for a change to the floating head image…I recently had 28″ of hair removed from my head.
I’m still not neat and tidy, but that’s an issue of having more stuff than storage.
Cheers,

August 12, 2005 at 2:20 pmWell…I can’t change mine fast enough. No matter what people always tell me that “You’re considerably more gray than your picture…” At the rate that’s going, Kathlyn and Ron would have to changing my pic once a week.

Let’s not get into that. I just returned from my 45th High School Class Reunion. As I was going into the building someone was coming out and said you don’t want to go in there, it is full of old people.
