8 core crashing at end of any and all renders

Sorry to bring this back, but I’ve been having this issue also. Tried trashing the prefs, tried, changing some settings around in the preferences, all to no luck…
until now….
Good thing I saw this thread because my issue was fixed also by turning off my MOTU Ultralite for rendering. I am in complete agreement with you Tony. The only issues I’ve ever had with the sound device is that sometimes it’ll go haywire when my Time Machine starts to back up to the firewire drive. Other than that, no issues.
Looks like I’ll be turning off my sound device when I render. What a crappy solution lol. Anyone having it working with other external sound devices?
