Have you tried opening the original file (from the HVX) in QT and exporting it to a lossless codec and working from there? I have had some problems with multiple machines reading HVX-originated 720p60 files the same way in AE, but when I exported them to the Animation codec first, all the problems went away. I work a lot with those cameras now, and always maintain a healthy suspicion of whatever is coming off those P2s.
