Sure wish I had read this thread before I went out and bought a new monitor. I thought the reason I wasn’t seeing Avid’s “1080p23.98” via my Kona LHi HDMI out was that my old ca. 2005 monitor didn’t support 1080p. Just set the new one up and got the behavior as described above.

I will try to use my SDI – DVI/HDMI converter and see if I have better results. (Because it IS a nice new monitor and I don’t want to have to pack it up.) Thanks for this thread.
