1080i/24p shooting issue

Did you shoot 24p or 24pA?

Before you start editing, make sure all of the clips in the browser have an upper field first dominance (you can change all selected clips at once), and then use a 1080i DVCPro HD sequence.

Clips already in a sequence will not have the field dominance changed so you can either match frame and reedit them, or change them in the timeline one by one in the sequence.

Hi Jeremy,

Back to my original thread and thank you for your help. I was able to change the field dominance to upper before pulling the clip into the timeline. However, in order to make sure I am editing in the proper codec, I can only see options to edit in DVC Pro HD 1080i50, 1080i60, 1080p25, and 1080p30. Please let me know which codec you think will work best. Thank you!
