April 28, 2015 at 9:12 pmHaving the same issue here in STL. Exporting ProRes422 with same workflow as before update.
File plays in QT Player, but not when transferred to KiPro.
I posted my details in a new post.

April 28, 2015 at 9:49 pmMake sure you are exporting 24bit audio tracks. KiPro won’t playback 16bit files.

May 12, 2015 at 8:01 pmI won’t waste any time here. A client was having the same issue with the audio since the FCPX update. I spent some time on the phone with AJA and it seems they have been hearing from a lot of people about this and have developed a work around. While it isn’t a permanent fix (which hopefully FCP will take note of), it seems to have flawlessly solved the issue for my client and didn’t take long at all. I have uploaded a PDF which was sent to me via AJA tech support. Hopefully this helps you guys.

May 31, 2015 at 7:47 amThanks for that. My workaround was to export using Compressor, making sure audio is 24bit/48khz, which still works without issue.
