10.2 ProRes export issues with AJA KiPro

Having the same issue here in STL. Exporting ProRes422 with same workflow as before update.
File plays in QT Player, but not when transferred to KiPro.

Make sure you are exporting 24bit audio tracks. KiPro won’t playback 16bit files.

I won’t waste any time here. A client was having the same issue with the audio since the FCPX update. I spent some time on the phone with AJA and it seems they have been hearing from a lot of people about this and have developed a work around. While it isn’t a permanent fix (which hopefully FCP will take note of), it seems to have flawlessly solved the issue for my client and didn’t take long at all. I have uploaded a PDF which was sent to me via AJA tech support. Hopefully this helps you guys.

Thanks for that. My workaround was to export using Compressor, making sure audio is 24bit/48khz, which still works without issue.
