Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro 1 minute video with only photos and titles is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY slow in a monster laptop

    Hi Greg and thank you for your answer and argument ☺
    I have never done it before. So you say that I have to convert (by using proxies) the H.264 to cineform? And after at the export I ll put it again in H.264? Did I understand correctly?

    I’m advocating that you convert (transcode) H264 media to Cineform instead of making proxies.

    Hi Chris and Greg and thanks for your answers.
    Yesterday I created my second video in premiere pro. And everything was absolutely fine. In this video I had only 4k videos, no photos. Some titles but everything was smooth and nice with proxies. The render time of the same length was just 3-4 minutes instead of 6 hours……
    This was a normal behavior of a powerful laptop like that. So maybe it is the images and the titles of the other time that was a bad combination? I will investigate it further. Thank you so much for your replies again.
