Video preview and mixer have become ‘tabbed’
I’m not sure what the slip of the fingers was, but in Sony Vegas Platinum 9 my preview window and my mixer are together as tabs, just like the transitions and media bin etc are on the left. How to I separate them again? I’ve tried dragging them apart, deleting one or both and opening them again under View, to no avail.

On the top left of each tab, you find 4 dots. Go there with your cursor and drag the window out of the tabs.
And next time when you drag a window and reach the are of the tabs, just press Ctrl to prevent that the window is tabbed.
