  HDV capture question

  When capturing HDV from my FX1 to Sony Vegas Pro 9.0e the shots are being divided every 8 minutes and a new clip created. The camera is used for B roll and I want to capture up to 60 minutes without any cuts. How do I capture the complete tape without these cuts? I’ve tried turning off “Enable HDV scene detection”, but it still breaks up the capture into 8 minute segments. Thanks

  Is the hard drive you are using to capture to formatted as FAT32? (most external hard drives are unless you reformat them) 8 minutes of HDV is about 2GB which might be a file system limit.
