  If you place the Sony Timecode FX on the media in the project media pool, it should pick up the timecode from the media if it was captured correctly. Then it’s just a matter of matching the numbers up on the readout in the video preview. The big “IF” is if the media contains the timecode in the first place (for example HDV media does not!)
