  View YUV

  hey
  urgently need a player/conversion util that will let me convert or even just view Sony YUV files rendered from Vegas.
  QTpro, VLC, WMP, mpegstream clip cannot display them…

  which means I cannot view my renders.

  My Sony YUV files play fine in Windows Media Player. Are you trying to play these on another PC that doesn’t have Vegas Pro installed? That won’t work because the codec wouldn’t be installed on that PC.

  its on the same machine that vegas is on. can you play a 60gig YUV file in WMP? thats how big a typical render is (about 17 mins section)

  I don’t see why the size of the file should matter. It’s not like WMP is trying to read it all into memory or anything. Are you saying that you can play smaller Sony YUV files in WMP but not larger ones?
