still images grouping in pairs
hi, im looking for some help with an animation problem, im sure its obvious but i cant seem to find the settings to alter…
i have been using vegas to create a stop motion animation, and have been having a problem with the fact that the still images i put in have been sticking together in pairs, leaving a blank gap between each pair, this in turn producing a jittery video.
can anyone please help, its a very annoying problem

I’m not sure how you’re doing it but, as long as all the stills are “properly” (same amount of image numbers) sequentially numbered and in the same folder, this is very easy to do.
Go to File > Import, browse to the correct folder, click on the first image in the sequence, click the “Open still image sequence” box at the bottom of the tab and click “Open”.
Change any desired options in the box that comes up and you’re done.
All the images have been combined into a single file sequence that can be dropped anywhere on your timeline. -

i was just dragging in the files, but ill give this a go, i have a sneaking suspicion that i did something to produce a music video that the images automatically synced with the timing of the music.
ill give this method a go and get back to you.
