  deleting unwanted grey track

  Hi

  Can you tell me how to delete a video and associated sound track
  at the same time?

  I have a talking head on track 1 and the audio in track 2
  But at the start of both, there is a grey area which always plays
  How can i remove this grey area so movie starts directly with the talking heads?

  I assume the gray area is at the start of the video. Just hover your mouse over the left edge of the video event and click and drag to the right until the gray area has been trimmed off. Then move the event to the left to fill in the blank space.
