    when ever im slowing down a clip the sound goes all jumpy…is there a way to fix it?

    Nope. Audio doesn’t go more than about 15% with any degree of integrity….
    there are some third party VSO-emulators that do a decent job, but you can’t create audio where there was none.

    There is a switch in `Audio Event Properties` / `Lock to strecth` that locks the audio playback rate to the time stretch if you don’t mind changing the pitch of the sound.

    Also Vegas Pro has a new élastique method of stretching audio which does an outstanding job but was not the default mode until Vegas Pro 9.0d. Make sure you are using the élastique method and see if that helps.

    Right-click an audio event and select properties and you’ll see the stretch method on the Audio Event tab.
