  • Keyframes move position / change size after Rendering

    Hey guys,

I’ve edited all of my video. My video has many clips where there is one main piece of footage playing (covering the whole of the screen) and I might have a few other video clips / pictures on separate tracks above the main video track. The other video clips / pictures play at the same time as the main video track. I adjusted the size and positioned the other video clips / pictures by using ‘Track Motion’. I have used many keyframes for this too. My problem is that after rending my video and watching it back, everything I’ve done within ‘Track Motion’ – sizes, positions etc have changed! Some of them have changed alot, and some haven’t.

I’m just wondering if i’m doing something wrong here? When editing, everything looks fine.. I have edited all of the sizes and positions of the other videos / pictures using the ‘Best -> Full’ preview mode. When I switch to the other preview modes, I can see that some of the keyframes have moved position slightly. I thought that editing using the ‘Best -> Full’ preview mode would be the most accurate!

    I appreciate your help!
    Thanks guys,
    Matt.

Changing your preview resolution should not make any keyframes move. What version of Vegas are you using? Pro 9 has been riddled with bugs. Not sure if this is one though?
