  Render settings? – AVCHD 1080 -> Neoscene ->1080 24p -> Vimeo

  I have a 1080 AVCHD file from a Panasonic GH1 that I converted using Neoscene into a 1080 24p file. Edited it with Vegas Platinum 9b in a 1080 24p timeline and am ready to render for Vimeo. Which setting gives the best results?

  I have tried many different settings and I’m getting many different results, none of which are fantastic.

  I typically render as an MP4. However, a Cineform AVI will also work well…it’s just a lot bigger than an MP4.

  Somewhere on their site, they have an FAQ that describes the preferred formats for uploading and some are specific to Vegas.

  It may take some trial and error, so use a small file for experimentation.
