  DVD Architect – will it re-encode my videos?

  Hi guys,

  I’m just creating a couple menus in DVD Architect and I’ve just noticed the Project Properties section. It has all these options like video bitrate, frame rate, audio bitrate, etc.

  Now I just spent hours encoding and exporting my videos exactly how I like them – I don’t want DVD Architect to go and re-encode them to something else.

  Are these settings just for the menu? Or does it screw with your full length videos as well?

  They are just for the menus unless your video is non-compliant. Then they will count for the videos as well. Hopefully you rendered them from Vegas using one of the DVD Architect MPEG2 templates.

  They are proper M2V and AC3 files, so it sounds like it should be fine then. Thank you.
