  Render Size

  Im trying to render to AVI format movies from Panasonic HDC-SD1. I dont understand fact that if I choose resolution 528×224 it looks horible huge pixels in poor colors, and if you watch movies riped from dvd in the same resolution as mine, it looks great, and 1h45m takes about 700mb, if you can explain me why its impossible for me. and how to get near that result at home.

  That camera is HD 1440 – 1080 pix aspect 1.;333
  There is a project preset for HDV 1440 – 1080 and HD mpeg or WMV render presets that you can watch from your computer if you connect it to your HDTV via VGA or HDMI, otherwise you’ll need a blu ray burner to watch in in HD from a disk. Standard DVDs are only 720 – 480, still higher that the setting you chose. Hope this helps, Danny
