    Hi people!

This is ackward, and I hope this isn’t really obvious, but whenever I choose the colorpicker tool in vegas, and CLICK DRAG to get a RANGE rather than a single color, it doesn’t work. It reacts just as if I was clicking, no range square is being shown, it justs selects one color and that’s it. is there a setting or something for this? It’s so stupid it must be simple but I just can’t get it to do a range. I noticed this problem first when doing chromakeying that I couldn’t select a range of colors like others did in their tutorials which was really weird. Even in plugins like color correcter that says “select effect RANGE” the effect is the same, that is, no range selected, just a single color.

Sony changed the behaviour of the range selector in the most recent version of Vegas.
Apparently it still does do a rectangle but only shows up as a single point so make sure that when you click & drag, you’re not choosing another set of colours.

I just realized this too, that something does happen when selecting a range and dragging. Thanks!

Does the RANGE feature still work the same? I still just see ONE color selected, and I assume this is an average calculated from the area selected?
