  Windows 7 Performance Difference?

  I’m contemplating making the change to Windows 7 Home Premium, from my current Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit. Has anyone noticed any change in performance in doing so? Faster renders? Or is it just a more user-friendly OS?

  Never had a Vista machine but had Vegas 9 running on Windows 7 32 bit and it ran great, preview refresh was much faster than XP on the same machine. Danny

  I have Win 7 no operating problems, but I have no Thumbnail images
  when I go to capture video. other than that Vegas works great on
  Windows 7 Just make sure you get more than 1 fire wire Port.
  mine came with 1 had to order PCIe card from Newegg to add 2 more.
  fire wire ports it was only 19.95. Rosswell makes it and works good.
