I just made something for you tube but when I exported it through sony vegas pro 9 as an mp4, the 24fps video coming from 30i recording was all jerky. Now the 30p video from the recording and the regular 24p video that i got off you tube is fine, it’s just the 24fps from the recording. It looks like it was rendered for the wrong video format (like trying pal on NTSC). Does someone know how to stop this???

    • What are your project settings?
    • What is the media format?
    • What are your render settings?
    • Did you disable resampling?
    • Did you shoot with 24p in mind and make your pans slow and deliberate?

All of these will affect how smoothly 60i translates to 24p.

    mp4 30p on 30i recording

(The 30i recording i have are things that i digitaly recorded off tv that help out with my project.)

    mp4 25p on 30p video

    avi 24p

    avi 30p

    xvid 25p.

my project is on NTSC DV 29.97fps

    render settings are on best-full.

I’m trying to render to mp4

the 24p on 30i recording and the mp4 25p on 30p video have the jerkyness on the final rendered video.

just figured out part of it, it happens when I zoom in a little bit, i’ve got them zoomed in to get rid of the bordering lines on the video. don’t know why it does that, but i want that to stop.
