  Rendering avi from Vegas

  I have rendered a long (1 1/2) clip from Sony Vegas into the AVI file. When I did this it ended up making 3 files and not just one long file as I wanted. Why does it do this and can I get it to create just the one AVI file?

  My guess is that the hard drive you rendered to is set up as FAT32 and not NTFS.
  This issue and the various solutions have been discussed here numerous times.
