  Edit performance issue on Windows 7

  Hi,
  I have upgraded my PC from Windows XP 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. I have successfuly installed Vegas 9.0c 64-bit. All worked fine, until I opened my last big project with 900 AVI clips. Clips editing (cut, delete…) is executed with a sticky delay (cca 1 sec.). The delay depends on number of used clips. Other functions (playback, render) ar performed fast. On WinXP and Vegas 7 is no delay – editing is immediate. I have tried Vegas 7 on my Windows 7, the delay is the same as in Vegas 9.
  Can somebody help me how to get rid of this delay?

  What else changed? Same disk drives? Same PC?

  I have added another disk drive to install Windows 7. Now I can boot to my previous XP or new W7. The second drive has similar parameters as the first – SATA II, 7200 rpm.
