    Hi;

    Having a very confusing problem. I have an AI layer in a comp, which I’ve turned on the continued rasterization switch. Works great. Now, I am using that same comp in a master comp to use as an alpha matte. When I scale that layer in the master comp, the AI file inside that comp is not scaling properly! It’s treating it as a raster file. I have the “high quality” switch turned on. Is there something I am missing? Not sure why this behavior is happening. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    you’ll need to enable the ‘collapse ‘ option for the nested comp (it’s the same switch s the ‘continuous rasterization’ switch, but for comps it’s called collapse tranformations). this option will tell ae to use the layer specific settings from within the nested comp.
