    Hi guys,

I’m interested in uprezzing SD footage to 720P. How can I do that with Sony Vegas Pro? Shooting with a Panasonic 100B in Squeeze mode. Do I render out in 720P in Sony Vegas?

    What works best?

    Thanks!!

I would start with a 720p project. This way you can get a good idea of what the footage will look like. SD Widescreen is slightly wider than HD Widescreen so will have to crop the footage to avoid a slight letterbox top and bottom. You might want to add a bit of sharpening to all of the SD footage because it’s going to soften up some as you resize from 720×480 to 1280×720. This will return some of the crispness to the image. Then render at 720p.
