  negative/positie filter

  Hey folks and Happy Holidays!

  Have a quick question- I’m transferring/telecining some 16mm negative film stock next week and will edit the DV files in Sony Vegas. Is there a simple filter in Vegas and/or specific/special settings I can apply to give a ‘positive’ print appearance? I there a cheap (free) plugin that would be better? Any trick or help would be great. Thanks in advance.

  Try the Sony Invert filter.

  Thanks John,

  I thought that would bethe most logical choice, just wasn’t sure when you deal with negative film stock, there’s something better, or more recommended. I’ll try it. Thank you.
