  Capturing HDV Canon xh-a1 Footage & Logging Clips

  Hello again, thanks to all who take the time to answer. I’ve been using Vegas 9c with my xh-a1 and have never had the option to log clips in HDV. Is this because it’s not compatible? It would be nice not to baby sit the camera the whole time. I use a 64bit Vista system, so I’m guessing this is my problem.

  You are not missing anything. Unfortunately, logging was never implemented in the HDV capture tool and with the future bring tapeless workflows, I wonder if it ever will.
