problems with setting and grouping
Hello,
I have Vegas 9 and have been using vegas since Vegas 5. I was wondering if anyone can help me with what I assume is a setting. When I have clips in the timeline, the clips all move, when I move the first clip. Also when I have clips put together on the timeline, when I stretch the audio file the video files will move themselves on the timeline. I was wondering if anyone would know how to fix this problem. I’ve tried ungrouping the whole project, not only is it time consuming, but the clip on the same timeline will movie with it as if I grouped them together.
thanks for any help, I have wasted so many hours trying to figure this out!

This might be a silly question since you’ve been using Vegas for so long, but since you didn’t mention it in your post… is “Auto Ripple” on? It’s up on the tool bar or you can hit Ctrl+L.

OMGosh! I feel like an idiot! Thank you for bringing that to my attention…. I guess when you look at something so long, you overlook the minor stuff! Thanks again!
