Sony Vegas Wave – Google Wave
Posted by Creative Cow on December 2, 2009 at 11:22 pmCreative COW is testing the Google Wave API to see what sort of uses Google Wave might have at the COW. We’ve created a Sony Vegas Wave for users to start interacting.
Sign-up, Interact, Take a look and Give us feedback on how this technology might work for all of us:

Where is it? How do I get started? I signed up for wave. Now what???
This is perfect technology for the Cow. Imagine how interactive we could be as a community. Quite often people come here with projects with deadlines in trouble looking for answers. Imagine having instant messaging like access to answers with all the history that a forum brings while allowing multiple people to interact and the ability for people searching for answers to playback exactly how we arrived at a solution. Not to mention sharing images and videos as we often do, and I can stop manually quoting messages. 😉
Google Wave looks like an awesome collaborative tool and the Cow is an certainly an awesome collaborative community. It’s perfect for us! How do we get started using it?

December 6, 2009 at 7:08 amI went to sign up, and I had to ‘request an invitation.’ ?
I would like to try it, and see what kinds of functionality it has to offer. How do I sign in?

December 6, 2009 at 2:58 pmI’ve been reading more about it and apparently you have to be invited to join so if your friend invited you, then you should be OK. Perhaps whoever posts interest in this thread will get an invitation from the person at the Cow who signed up for Wave? I don’t know. I hope so.

December 7, 2009 at 4:53 amI’m definitely interested in this. I’ve been using wave with a remote business partner that does much of our compositing work, and it’s much more efficient that the usual email/server link method. It’s an EXCELLENT idea.
I’m ready to go, but it appears that Wave, as well as the Cow’s wave system is still working out some details. For those that need invites, I have 3 left, and I’ll offer them to whomever wants them, first come first serve. Just post up your mail adress, and I’ll send the invite.

December 7, 2009 at 3:16 pmHey Dustin, Thanks for the offer. Not wanting to post anything that a spam bot would recognize, I’d recommend sending the invite to my johnrofrano.com account where my email is ‘johnnyroy‘. 😉

December 7, 2009 at 9:47 pmGot it Dustin… Thanks. Of course now I have 8 invites if anyone needs them. I’m really interested in seeing what the Cow does with this. Lots of potential here. Mooooo. 😉

December 12, 2009 at 6:58 pmSo, if I receive an invite to the wave, I can then invite 8 others? Someone send me an invite and I’ll pick up the next eight.
