My hard drive recently crashed and I had to get a new one, and as such I had to, of course, reinstall Sony Vegas (I have Pro 8.0). Prior to the crash my rendered videos were always perfectly fine, but not all mpg and avi files are REALLY jumpy, no matter what player I used (I have all of the codecs downloaded, and when I uploaded the video to YouTube viewers confirmed it was jumpy for them as well). At the moment .wmv seems to be okay, although I’m not yet positive (I only tested it on a small clip). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Could it be the field order?

No offense to “YouTube viewers” (OK, just a little), but could you post a link to an uploaded video with the problem? I trust the gang here more and it’ll help with diagnostics.
