  After Effects hangs / crashes during RAM preview

  After Effects hangs during RAM preview and the only thing to do is to manually crash the program to be able to exit it and start it over.
  My guess is that the RAM gets filled to the top.

  Is there another, more friendly, way to solve the situation when a hang like this happens?
  I mean, without having to totally close / crash it by hand?

  Or maybe such a hang is not a normal thing after all and I’m doing something wrong while RAM previewing?

  I’ve got the same problem. I read that my macos 10.6 has something to do with it. Hope to get cs5 soon!!!
