Would appreciate some guidance in what settings to use to produce a good quality DVD…

    Camera has the following options:

    1080/60i, 1080/30p (over 60i), 1080/24p (native), 720/60p, 720/30p(over 60p)
    720/24p (native)
HA, HG and HE mode: 1080/60i only

    Questions:

1)For the highest quality DVD what format should I record in?

2)What should I set my project in SV 9.0b?

3)What should I render out to for DVDA?

    4)What settings in DVDA?

    5)Anything I forgot to ask? 🙂

Thanks in advance for the help!

    1) 1080/60i.
    2) HDV 1080/60i
    3) mpeg2 widescreen DVD, pick a bitrate you’re happy with. try 4.2 CBR to start. Don’t go over 6mbps.
    4) DVD
    5) Probably tons of things. Go for it, and remember Search is your friend!

Thanks, I’ve been reviewing and posting on a few other forums and mostly see that I should actually record and stay in progressive. Any reason why the interlace suggestion?
