I know it’s a bit off topic, but people here previously recommended using IrfanView 4.25 to resize large file photos before using them in Vegas. It works fine, but does anyone know why pictures that were vertically oriented when taken, that are left horizontal in my files, are being automatically flipped to their vertical position in the preview window and THEN resized? I want them left in the horizontal position to get the dimensions correct and then I’ll flip them. I can’t find any kind of default setting controlling this.
    Thanks,
    Bruce

Under Properties in Irfanview, go to the JPG/PCD/GIF tab and uncheck where it says “Auto-rotate image according to EXIF into”
