    Hi,

My friend had a strange bug yesterday while editing on his vegas pro 9… When he lauched his project, the clips on the timeline weren’ the good ones. All his edit is non sense now!

In the active take information of a clip, there was a name of a file (ex : raia-bora 1 clip 12) and in the properties/media/file name, it was a different name (ex : raia-bora 1 clip 42)… In any other normal project, the active take information and the clip name or file name is the same…

He runs XP pro on a Dell laptop, 2Ghz processor, 2 Go of RAM and external 7200 HDD via firewire…

    Anyone has an idea…?

I think you can open up the .BAK files as backups or use system restore to before this happened. With important .VEG files I always copy to another drive along with media. Danny Hays
