Lately when I’m opening certain projects I get an exception error and when I click OK the computer crashes and restarts. Can’t seem to track it to a particular plugin or anything. Running up to date Windows XP Pro on a Rain Element. Also happens frequently in one other studio here on a completely different michine.
I’m getting these details for the exception that crashes Vegas and the machine.

An access violation while READing might be a bad stick of memory. I would run memtest86 on the PC and see if it finds anything.
