  Clip renders out as black only

  I have a uncompressed MOV clip this is 1280×720 progressive scan on the time line. It plays correctly on time line but when I try to render the project out to MPEG2 720x576P the MPEG2 file file plays correctly except for this clip which displays only as black.

  I have tried to just render out this clip to an avi 720×576 for including back into my project but find that this clip is just black even though the original OV file plays correctly. Whats the problem & how do I fix it?

  Do you have problems with other Quicktime files on this PC? Make sure your Quicktime is up to date. Otherwise, if it’s just that one uncompressed MOV clip, try converting it to an uncompressed AVI file and use that in your project.

  Right click the clip, go to properties and disable resample.
