Alright, this is very hard for me to explain, but I’m having a problem understanding the 3D source alpha option. I have applied it to one of the tracks on my video and I’m working with a picture that I’m wanting to look like… a paper doll or something like that. Anyway, so when I tried to make it spin, the picture flipped to the opposite side of the screen. I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong, because I know that’s how it’s supposed to work. But is there a way for me to flip my picture without making it change positions on the screen…
What I mean is… Is there a way for me to maintain the same axis while still rotating the picture?
I’m wanting it to spin… like a piece of paper on a string.

I’m sorry if I’m not making sense. Like I said, it’s very hard to explain. Any and ALL suggestions will be gladly appreciated.
    Thank you for your time.

    I understood you completely.

3-D can get mightily complex, very quickly. By the sound of what you are saying the “object” is already off-set and that’s the you want it – yes? I’d use Rotation in Pan/Crop. I do this to keep things simple for my Brain . . .

What do you mean by “offset?” Because, when I try to use Rotation in Pan/Crop, the picture stretches out before it flips.

I explain how to do this in my tutorial “3D Track Motion: Changing the Pivot Point“. It’s acomplished by turning off Editing in Object Space and then moving the pivot point.
