Okay, so I just recently acquired a plug-in for Sony Vegas called, “Spicemaster.” However, whenever I go to use it on a clip, my Vegas tells me an exception has occurred and turns itself off.

I can’t seem to fix the problem.

Please, if anyone knows a way to help me, I would be really grateful!

I’ve got SpicemasterPro 2.5 and it is working fine in VP9b 32-bit on XP Pro SP3. I have it working in previous versions of VegasPro and this new iteration of Vegas has just picked it up and is working as it should.

When you say: “I just recently acquired a plug-in for Sony Vegas called, “Spicemaster.” ” – did you download it from the Pixelan website? And if so, did you go through the installation process? If you did, and you aren’t satisfied, then I would be going back to Pixelan: https://www.pixelan.com/sm25/intro.htm : and querying them.

Also, this is a useful page on their site: https://www.pixelan.com/sm25/help-techsupportfaqs.htm

I have many plugins from 3rd party developers, and all have worked. Spicemaster is a highly professional set of tools. Get back to them and I am sure they will assist.

    Grazie

I agree with Graham; the Pixelan plug-ins have been running flawlessly on my PC’s for years. Contact Pixelan and they will help you sort the problem out.
