Inserting Project in another Project
Hi, i want to know if it’s possible to add some .veg project in another open project. I find pretty hard to work in my small screen (17 inch monitor) on a video 10 – 15 minutes long. To get a good overview of the timeline, events get too small i cant distinguish them properly, so i have to zoom in, once i zoom in i have a rought time finding things and i get pretty messed up.
So i want to work separately, in one project one section, in another project another section of the video, and then mix them together.
I tried importing them as a .veg into another project, as .aff’s, and i got diverse errors or they just appear as i don’t want them to. For example i think when i import .veg projects, they are imported as one piece, there are no events, just one big file. With .aff, sound and text media are not imported at all.
So that’s my question, and i would like if it’s possible any professional (or useful) advice of how to get organized with a 10 – 15 minutes long video with events spread all around the timeline. (I get really messy with that.) Thanks in advance.

Yes in Vegas Pro you can always drag a .veg file onto the timeline of your Vegas master project (check the manual for ‘nesting’). This nested vegfile will appear as 1 event on the timeline, but opening the nested veg file in Vegas allowws you to make changes which will be automaticly updated in your master veg file.
