    Hello.

I am using Vegas 9.0 on a Mac via Bootcamp.
I am working with files from my Canon 5D M2.
    They are Quicktime, H.264. 640×480 @ 30 fps.

Should the Plug in for “(3-Wheel Primary and comprehensive) Secondary Color Correction” be bogging down my preview? When I add the plugin to a video track, the processing slows down the preview to the point where the video is sluggish, and sound doesn’t sync to the video.

I have read the suggestions to render the track to MPEG-2 to speed things up and get the files in a format that works better in Vegas 9. When I render the files, it does speed things up. But it seems counter-intuitive to have a plug -n cause so much slow-down.

I just want to make sure making MPEG-2s is the proper work-flow, ie: this bogdown is “normal.”

    Thanks.
