Audio during Multicam
I got version 9 to be able to do multicam editing.
I can’t quite figure out what it is doing with the audio. I want to just multicam the video, then leave the audio tracks alone so I can do those separately. But it seems like what it is doing is creating a video and an audio track by taking snippets from each of the two camera angles.
I can’t find anything this detailed in their documentation.

I am sure you have tried this but “vegas multicam” in goggle gives you a few youtube tutorials. These may help.

If you hold down the Ctrl key and select the video tracks (not audio tracks) you want to add to multicam by clicking on the track header on the left of the screen then go to Tools and click Create Multicam Track it will create the multicam video track but leave the audio tracks seperate and unaffected. I hope this helps.

Glad I could help.
I get all my Vegas tips from this forum. I have been using Vegas since V4 and am now on V9a. Its amazing what you can find if you search the site. The Vegas manuals only give you a taste of whats possible. I also spend (too much) time just messing to see what I can get the software to do.
